CONCEPTUAL KEY

It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important.” – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Since the clock is a device used to measure and indicate time, “Cocoon of Time” is assumed as a representation and materialization of this same abstract concept.

Taking on different formats, this object is mainly associated with renewal and development.

The circular format, common in many of the oldest cultures, shows the idea of a continuous and repetitive cycle, observable not only in nature, but also in the destiny of beings themselves.

The linear format, on the other hand, refers to a more modern interpretation of the concept, which describes it as a factor that marks movements of progress and change.

The clock is a symbol of maturity and independence, and it helps a person to manage and administer his own time. As long as it is working correctly, it is incapable of remaining stuck in the past, becoming a reminder that nothing in life is permanent - that death is inevitable - and that no one has the ability to stop it.
